TEXAS – USAA Bank and Civil Air Patrol are joining forces to introduce a customized credit card for CAP members and their families.
USAA Bank now offers the Civil Air Patrol USAA Rewards World MasterCard to help support the organization’s programs and activities. USAA Bank will make a contribution to CAP with every account opened or renewed, and each time cardholders make an eligible purchase.
“USAA was established 90 years ago to support military personnel and their families, so I am very pleased that USAA’s affinity card is now available to CAP members,” said Maj. Gen. Chuck Carr, CAP national commander.
“This program is important for two reasons – it is offered by one of the country’s most well-respected banks, and every purchase made by a CAP cardholder will benefit CAP.
“It is a win-win program for everyone.”
Added Nathan McKinley, USAA vice president of military affinity, “We’re proud to be working with Civil Air Patrol to launch our new cobranded credit card. Civil Air Patrol has a rich history dating back to 1941, and we appreciate everything they do in service to our country.”
In 2009, USAA opened its membership to all veterans who have honorably served and their eligible family members. To learn more about the USAA and CAP credit card program, call 1-800-435-4995 or visit its Website.
