NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS – A number of Civil Air Patrol members who renewed their membership online between September and November haven’t received their membership cards because of a software problem.
The card-ordering process for online renewals went awry for an undetermined number of members after an expansive membership-software conversion was completed in September at National Headquarters.
The problem has since been resolved, said Jim Tynan, NHQ’s membership card program manager, but some members still haven’t received their new card, and he wants to fix that problem immediately.
“We would like any CAP member who renewed online between September and November of this year and who has not received his or her card yet to contact our Membership Services section, and a replacement card will be ordered for them free of charge,” Tynan said.
