PUERTO RICO — Lajas High School Cadet Squadron recently toured the Lajas Agricultural Airport, courtesy of its owner, Segundo “Kun” Garcia, a Korean War veteran and retired Puerto Rico Army National member who uses his Grumman G-164 Ag Cat to assist the owners of agricultural plantations throughout the Lajas Valley.

He explained the airport’s operations to his visitors and gave them a chance to sit in his Grumman.

The squadron also saw a demonstration by acrobatic pilot Jaime Maya, who is based at the airport.
