WASHINGTON – Six soldiers back in the U.S. after being wounded while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan received rides in a Civil Air Patrol glider at the Olympic Air Show at Olympia Regional Airport, where they and other wounded warriors were honored as special guests, KOMO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, reports. The soldiers, members of various units who have united as the Warrior Transition Battalion at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, were selected for the glider rides through a raffle.
