Civil Air Patrol provides BMGR flight support

ARIZONA -- Civil Air Patrol provides flight support for the 1.1 million-acre Barry M. Goldwater Range (BMGR) near Luke Air Force Base in southwest Arizona. Officials say CAP aircraft are well suited for surveillance of the federal property, providing excellent observation platforms for the task. They estimate the cost savings for two full years of CAP support at about $16,000.
