NEW MEXICO -- Civil Air Patrol’s unique relationship with the U.S. Air Force paid dividends for cadets and senior members from Texas Wing’s Lubbock and Tiger Shark Composite Squadrons and New Mexico Wing’s Clovis High Plains Composite Squadron. During a visit earlier this month to the 27th Special Operations Wing at Cannon Air Force Base, they were treated to an orientation flight on a 16th Special Operations Squadron C-130, a "slick" or unarmed aircraft, a hands-on viewing of the MQ9 Predator, and a view of the base from its tower.
