COLORADO – On Wednesday, Latisha Tucker got a chance to see exactly where she spent two very cold nights in a remote section of Larimer County – courtesy of Civil Air Patrol. The 25-year-old woman rode with CAP pilot Maj. Brian Smiley, who first spotted her on the evening of June 28, two days after she got lost during a short hike in the Comanche Peaks area of Larimer County. Smiley spotted her in a clearing, waving a white shirt. “I had not cried up to that point,” Tucker said, “but when I saw that plane, it was such an amazing feeling that I balled.” Click here to see video of Tucker’s flight.
