MAINE – Twelve cadets from the Waterville Civil Air Patrol squadron – the Maine Wing’s 56th Composite Squadron – were front and center at a recent meeting at Robert LaFleur Municipal Airport, listening to Cadet Tech. Sgt. Jordan Craig talk to them. Craig, 18, of Benton, has been a member of the squadron since 2013, and in March, he will head to San Antonio, Texas, having joined the U.S. Air Force. As members of the Waterville squadron Craig and other cadets ranging in age from 12 to 21 learn about flying and other skills.
